We are very pleased to be able to offer this variety again after a number of years, a release from 1933 that was a popular variety in the 1940's and 1950's. A little piece of English Blackcurrant Growing history, that remains well worth growing today. Flavour is excellent and whilst reliability isn't as good as the modern new varieties, crops can still be prolific. The berries are well suited to all purposes.
Raised from the popular mainstay 'Baldwin'
