For picking in mid September, the fruits are a beautiful dark purple with a violet bloom, the flesh is juicy with superb flavour. Makes a moderate tree that is very easy to train as a fan where it will excel on a south facing wall. Suitable pollinators: Victoria, Opal, Edwards, Valor etc. easy to grow and quite outstanding

A bright red oval plum with a white bloom, of very fine dessert quality and good sweet flavour; the grade also is even and large. A rather old variety raised in 1885 & still worthy of cultivation today! Pollinate with Marjories, Victoria, Czar, Oullins Gage, kirkes Blue etc. Mid August season.

 Widely regarded as one of the better and more reliable of the Japanese Plums for the UK climate, this small and delicious little brilliant red Plum has a striking red flesh and juice. It ripens soft, sweet and juicy and may also be cooked. Self fertile, no pollinators required. Season early August. 

A popular old variety which continues to be sought by those who know it, and introduced to our range by popular request. An oval dark purple plum which ripens from mid September, frequently hanging well into October. Excels for all culinary purposes and considered by some palates to be suitable for dessert too. Self fertile.

PURPLE PERSHORERipening mid to late August, the bluepurple fruits excel for all culinary purposes. The purple fruited selection of Pershore Yellow Egg with all the same excellent cooking qualities. Very easy and heavy cropping. Self fertile.

This variety is often a year or two later before providing a full crop. The flavour, however, is really superb, almost a peach in plum’s clothing. The fruits are very large, round and have a good colour. Picking late August-early September. Pollinate with: Victoria, Opal, Edwards, Valor etc.

 An interesting variety from the USA raised in 1937.  The fruits are large, oval and of very fine quality – would likely also make a fine exhibition Plum as the fruits are quite striking. the skin colour is a lustrous red-purple. The inner flesh is sweet and yellow and easily stoned. Freezes very well. Season early september.  Good pollinators include Swan, Thames X, Opal, Queens Crown, Victoria etc. Well worth growing.

A handsome large oval plum of dark purpleblue, the yellow flesh of very fine desert flavour and also well suited to all culinary purposes. Not a heavy cropper but of very fine quality and flavour. Ripens early-mid September. Pollinate with: Victoria, Violletta Valor, Opal etc.

 A good late season variety of plum trees with oval reddish-purple attractive fruits; inside the flesh is firm and golden yellow. Good semi-sweet flavour, suits dual purpose. Hardy & a good reliable cropper. Self fertile, season September, often later.
