NEW - Introducing FLAMENCO
With so many Perpetual or Autumn Fruiting Strawberries having been introduced commercially in the last 5 years, that Flamenco has established itself amongst experts as the most revered of all is remarkable. But its list of attributes quickly justifies its rapid rise to eminence. Quite simply Flamenco has outperformed all of its rivals in trials. The vibrant vermillion red glossy conical berries are outstandingly attractive, presenting the ‘perfect’ bowlful! The vigorous healthy plants perform well over wide ranging growth methods be it the open ground, containers and under polytunnels. The cropping period runs from July until well into October and is at its peak in September for those especially valuable luscious fruits. Yield potential an astounding 1Kg per plant. 80% of berries are class 1. Over half of the crop falls into the large fruit category. Resistant to Verticillium wilt. The very first limited release we gave Flamenco last Summer gave an advance indication of Flamenco’s future popularity. Prompt ordering strongly advised.

A new ever-bearing variety from H.R.I. East Malling. From a cross between Rapella and Selva. Tango is unique in that it typically produces the bulk of its crop during the mid-July to mid-August period, significantly earlier than all other ever-bearing varieties. The cropping then continues with a small yield until late in the year.
