CHOICE OF VARIETIES

For growing outdoors, choose varieties that normally ripen by early September, or, if you live in the north, by early August. All varieties are ideal for growing in the coldhouse and containers. If you are growing in a container, the average required size is probably 12" by 12". Peaches are very rewarding and far easier to grow than many realise.
